James has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" every year since 2006, which places him in the top 5 percent of attorneys in California, as chosen by his peers and through independent research (see Superlawyers.com). He also has an AV Preeminent rating, the highest possible rating of legal ability.

James is responsible for hundreds of Arbitrations and numerous Jury Trials resulting in exceptional verdicts, including many seven-figure verdicts in low-offer cases. James and his wife, Jill, live in Laguna Hills. Their three grown children have flown the coop.

Eric V. Traut – Personal Injury Expert Since 1990

Admitted to the California Bar in 1990, Eric V. Traut was the 2002 President of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. Eric is one of less than 100 California members of the National Board of Trial Advocacy certified as a civil trial specialist.

In addition to serving as an Arbitrator and Mediator for both the Riverside and Los Angeles Superior Court, Eric also serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Orange County Superior Court.  Eric also serves as the Chairperson for the Orange County Bar Association semi-annual program entitled "College of Trial Advocacy". Eric is a frequent speaker at trial advocacy seminars, and has also appeared nationwide on Good Morning America, Court TV, and Fox News Channel.

Eric was was the President of Lex Romana (Italian/American Lawyers of Orange County) in both 2005 and 2006. Eric has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" every year since 2006, which places him in the top 5 percent of attorneys in California, as chosen by his peers and through independent research (see Superlawyers.com).  In 2007, he was named one of the “Top 50 Lawyers” in Orange County. In 2008, he received an award as the Alumni of the Year from Western State Law School (the largest in California).
